David Edgar Alderson Horne (14 de julio de 1898 en Balcombe, Sussex- 15 de marzo de 1970 en Marylebone, Londres) fue un actor de cine y teatro inglés. Horne comenzó su carrera cinematográfica en la década de 1930, después de una distinguida carrera temprana en el teatro. Generalmente se le veía retratando personajes pomposos y satisfechos de sí mismos. Nunca logró alcanzar el nivel de "estrella" en su carrera como actor en la pantalla grande, pero fue un actor de carácter indispensable e interpretó muchos papeles útiles, como recepcionistas, editores de periódicos, agentes de policía, abogados y médicos. Continuó su labor teatral hasta su muerte en 1970. En 1924 se casó con la ex actriz Renée Mayer. Posteriormente, el matrimonio se disolvió.
