Courteney Bass Cox (anteriormente Courteney Cox-Arquette; nacida el 15 de junio de 1964) es una actriz, directora y productora estadounidense. Obtuvo reconocimiento por su papel protagónico como Monica Geller en la comedia de situación de NBC, Friends, que se emitió de 1994 a 2004. Por su actuación en la serie, recibió siete nominaciones a los premios Screen Actors Guild, de las cuales ganó una. Recibió más reconocimiento por interpretar a Gale Weathers en la franquicia de películas de terror Scream (1996-presente).
